Efficiency Information
The EDR.Z filters are available in 5 µm and 10 µm nominal micron ratings.
- Removal Efficiency: See Table 2 in the official PDF for removal efficiency based on a modified ASTM 795 test procedure at 90.0%, 99.0%, and 99.9% efficiencies.
- Nominal-rated filters have a wider distribution of pore sizes and rejected particle sizes compared to absolute-rated filters. The nominal rating is primarily used for comparison across filter families and between manufacturers. Efficiency depends on particle shape, size, composition, application, and testing protocol.
