Feed water
TruBind cartridges are designed to reduce trace hydrocarbon contamination in aqueous fluids, including free, emulsified, and dissolved oils, synthetic lubricants, grease, and a multitude of organic solvents.
Product water
The cartridges typically reduce trace hydrocarbon contaminant in excess of 95% in single-pass mode at a flow rate of 1.0 gpm per 10-inch cartridge. Effluent hydrocarbon levels in water have been shown to be below current and proposed EPA limits as indicated by accelerated testing (Toxic Characteristics Leachate Procedure - TCLP). Series or multipass filtration can virtually eliminate hydrocarbon contamination.
