Construction Details
The bags utilize proprietary construction processes resulting in strong, reliable joints with no bypass or loose sewing thread. All seams are fully welded and heat-sealed, ensuring durability and flexibility for the filter bag to conform to the restrainer basket.
SENTINEL® Seal Ring
All HAYWARD SENTINEL filter bags incorporate a patented, all-plastic SENTINEL seal. This flexible, chemically resistant seal adapts to any filter vessel and features a pressure-activated sealing lip. This lip improves its seal as differential pressure increases, ensuring bypass-free performance across all ranges of pressure, temperature, and micron rating. The ring snaps into place in a HAYWARD filter vessel, and elevated bag handles facilitate easy removal. A new version of the SENTINEL ring includes an additional sealing lip that snaps into a special groove with a clear "CLICK" sound.
