Summary
Product identification
Parker's Fulflo® DuraBond™ Filter Cartridges are economical, high-strength, thermally bonded depth cartridges. They feature an integral rigid construction providing consistent filtration and a fixed pore structure that acts as a sieve-like particle "classification" filter, especially for pigmented coatings.
Features and Benefits
- Fixed pore structure ensures efficiency integrity and optimum particle retention.
- Thermally bonded bicomponent fiber matrix offers rigid, dimensionally stable construction without fiber migration.
- Rigid construction eliminates contaminant unloading and channeling.
- Corrugated porous surface maximizes dirt holding capacity.
- Silicone-free construction prevents changes to coating properties.
- Polyolefin construction provides broad chemical compatibility.
- All materials of construction are FDA listed as acceptable for potable and edible liquid contact according to CFR Title 21.
- Cartridges can be easily disposed of by shredding, incinerating, or crushing.
- Provides particle "classification" effect with pigmented coatings.
- Double-open-end style is self-sealing without separate gasket material.

Materials of Construction
- Filter Medium: Thermal bonded bicomponent matrix of polypropylene/polyethylene (Polyolefin)
- End Caps/Adapters (optional): Polyolefin copolymer
- Seal Options: Various (EPR, Buna, Silicone, Teflon Encapsulated Viton®, Viton®); refer to Ordering Information in the official PDF.
Operating limits
- Temperature: 175°F (80°C)
- Pressure:
- 100 psid (5.5 bar) @ 72°F (22°C)
- 50 psid (3.4 bar) @ 175°F (80°C)
- Flow Rate: 5 gpm (19 lpm) per 10 in length
- Changeout ∆P: 30 psi (2.1 bar)
Mechanical / hydraulic
- Dimensions: 1-1/16 in (27 mm) ID x 2-7/16 in (62 mm) OD
- Lengths: 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 in continuous nominal lengths.
Flow rate and pressure drop can be calculated using the following formulas:
- Flow Rate (gpm) = (Clean ∆P x Length Factor) / (Viscosity x Flow Factor)
- Clean ∆P = (Flow Rate x Viscosity x Flow Factor) / Length Factor
Clean ∆P is PSI differential at start. Viscosity is in centistokes. Flow Factor is ∆P/GPM at 1 cks for 10 in (or single). Length Factors convert flow or ∆P from 10 in (single length) to required cartridge length. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values of DBC Flow Factors (Aqueous Service PSID GPM per 10 in) and DBC Length Factors.
