Product identification
DURAGAF™ filter bags are extended-life filter bags made from state-of-the-art needled felt media. They are available in two main extended life materials:
- Polypropylene (POXL)
- Polyester (PEXL)
Food-grade compliant versions are also available:

- Polyester Food Grade (PEXLF)
Mechanical / hydraulic
DURAGAF filter bags feature 100% welded fabrication and the HAYWARD SENTINEL seal. This construction aims to eliminate bypass common in standard sewn filter bags and provide a super-strong seam.
The patented SENTINEL seal is pressure-actuated and designed to improve its seal as differential pressure increases.
A proprietary downstream surface treatment is applied to prevent fiber migration. This involves glazing the surface and heat-bonding weld seams to eliminate loose fibers.
