DURAGAF™ filter bags are designed for high-performance, extended-life filtration processes. They feature state-of-the-art needled felt bag filter media, offering lifetimes 2-5 times longer than ordinary felt media.
Features
- Extended Life Materials: Available in polypropylene (code POXL) or polyester (code PEXL). These materials use a finer fiber diameter and higher weight for dramatically higher dirt holding capacity at the same efficiency and differential pressure.
- All-Welded Construction: Features 100% welded fabrication and the HAYWARD SENTINEL seal, eliminating bypass common in standard sewn filter bags.
- HAYWARD SENTINEL Seal: Patented, pressure-actuated ring improves its seal as differential pressure increases.
- No Downstream Fiber Contamination: Manufactured with a proprietary downstream surface treatment to prevent fiber migration. A special finish is obtained by glazing the surface, melting fibers together to form a tight, secure downstream matrix. Weld seams are heat bonded to eliminate loose fibers.
- Bag Cover Layer: Extended Life Felt with finer fibers, more pores, and thicker media.
- Surface of Extended Life Felt: Designed for no fiber release and full flow through surface channels.
- Food and Beverage Applications: DURAGAF filter bags are available in models (POXLF, PEXLF) compliant with FDA and EC requirements for food contact.
