Summary
Product Identification
BECO PROTECT PG depth filter cartridges are made from wrapped polypropylene filter material with different layers from coarse to fine, designed for use in the beverage and food industry. The cage and end caps are made from polypropylene and are thermally bonded.
Key characteristics and advantages:
- Absolute retention rate for reliable separation effect (ß ratio ≥ 5000)
- Long filter service life
- High chemical resistance (100% polypropylene construction)
- High stability against pressure surges and high differential pressures
- High dirt holding capacity due to graded filter configuration
- Back-washable up to 2 bar (29 psig) at 80 °C (176 °F)
Materials used:
- Filter material: Polypropylene
- Internal and external support body: Polypropylene. Exception: Code F, X have no external support body.
- End caps/adapters: Polypropylene, adapter with reinforcing ring
- O-rings: Silicone (standard); EPDM, Viton, or without (optional)
