The BECO MEMBRAN H filter cartridge (0.2 µm) is designed for sterile gas filtration applications, removing contamination down to 0.01 µm in gases.

Performance / Validation

• Contamination removal: Down to 0.01 µm in gases.
• Integrity: Ensured even after several steaming cycles or continuous steaming over 165 hours.
• Integrity test (per 10" cartridge element at 23 °C):
  • Nitrogen diffusion: ≤ 15 ml/min at 0.7 bar with 60 % isopropanol.
  • Bubble point pressure: ≥ 895 mbar with 60 % isopropanol.
• Virus aerosol retention: A 10" filter cartridge fully retains 10⁸ – 10¹⁰ ΦX-174 phages even after 50 application cycles (SIP) at 145 °C and a flow rate of 85 Nm³/h.
• Bacterial penetration: No penetration of Pseudomonas diminuta occurs for at least 21 days when subjected to 10⁷ organisms/cm².
